Warmonger Bolton should move to some place where there is no extradition to the US. Then give the contents on the book to wikipedia and the Guardian and let them do the rest.

Looks like this November it will be about the least incompetent rather than most competent again!

I think the choice is between "Demented", or "Dementia" !!!

Trump has said every conversation with him is classified.

Imagine you're secret service agent and he sends you McDonald's with an order to fill:

counter person "May I take your order?"

agent "I'd like to tell you, but it's classified"

Incompetence - he managed to get himself elected POTUS after a dubious business career, a TV show, and when all those supposedly knowledgeable ones said he had no chance!

Hows that stack up for incompetence against a career politician, ex first lady, ex Secretary of State, who all the knowledgeable ones said couldn't loose screwing it up?

Looks like this November it will be about the least incompetent rather than most competent again!

It certainly shows the incompetence of some voters.

Put all his assets in a trust then let sum sue away.

Double Trouble

John Bolton's book, will be followed by Mary Trump's, Donalds niece. By now we know the plot, but they delve deeper; Boltons into incompetence, personal benefit, and US foreign relations/policy. Mary's a more personal work on how he manipulated his tax returns, to profit from bankruptcy after bankruptcy of business ventures.

BTW the book is printed, already shipped so it is coming out. No way POTUS can stop it. What it is does show is Ukraine style malfeasance around the world. Giving aid if he, POTUS gets aid or info, against his enemies; quid pro quo .  All from a hard line, ex Bush.jr., Republican, clearly fed up with the current regime.

As I find myself staying home this rainy season, both look to be required reading.

The lowest common denominator voters loved his pirated trashy money and his trashy "style".....because they're trash.

The TV show was an asset.

Vigorously scraping the bottom of the intellectual barrel and looking under rocks got Trump in last time, he will do the same again:

“No one in this world, so far as I know — and I have searched the records for years, and employed agents to help me — has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people. Nor has anyone ever lost public office thereby.

                                                     Henry Louis Mencken

What sort of "competence" can deal with that?

Fight evil with evil?

The US is in a very bad place.

Doofus Donald is seriously mentally ill and needs help.  With a little luck, when this mess is all over, he'll get that help.  Federal prisons maintain staffs of psychiatric professionals.

Anyone who worked in a classified setting, carrying a TS/SCI clearance, goes through the same procedure when they write a non-fiction book. They submit it to their employer/former employer who checks it for classified material. The checkers are under a time constraint that if the time is exceeded, the author can assume tacit approval. Some authors submit their work in portions as they write in order to save time and be able to edit in a timely manner should that be required.

Bolton was inside the govt long enough to know full well what is classified and what isn't, so going over his manuscript should have been easy. In terms of actual classified matters, it was. In terms of embarrassing truths, it wasn't. Embarrassing truths, however, are not covered by any legally binding commitment to keep secrets secret.

Bolton submitted his manuscript and the time passed with no issues formally raised. He followed the rules. That allowed Bolton to submit it to the publisher and for printing to begin. Now, mere days before official publication, a stink is being raised and the fellow who pretends to be an Attorney General is doing the bidding of his master trying to stop publication.

Odds are high the book will be published on schedule. It has already been shipped and pre-sold by major outlets. It has already been read and reviewed by various journalists and critics. They are free to report anything and everything they have read, as they are under no obligation to not reveal anything that someone long after the fact is claiming is classified.

The manuscript was reviewed by White House (civil service) classification specialist in December and completed in April with the determination that the draft did not contain classified information.

But Trump appointed NSC senior director for intelligence Michael Ellis then decided on an additional review.

TRANSLATION: manuscript could not pass a political review.

I'm not sure that is accurate that he has dodged all the bullets. His approval and support of Independents and Republicans are tanking. So to understand what is left of his support here is an article on "Why Do Trump Supporters Act Like His Reelection Is Certain?"

The truth will prevail.Trump can take all the legal action he wants to stop the truth but it will come out. 20,000 lies and misleading statements sums up the reality of Trump. The deafening silence of the Trump supporters is coming home even they know that they have lost the hope of having a truthful, patriotic and an American  leader that is only interested in the welfare and future of the country (not just filling his pockets and bank accounts). November will show the American way and the people and country will prevail

Really?  Where is Executive Privilege mentioned in the US Constitution?

Regarding "the x patriot", it is a sad commentary on our current situation that John Bolton, once viewed as a member of the radical interventionist extreme, became the voice of reason, restraint, and respect for rules in the current no-rules administration.

Ok, I give you that.  No where in the US Constitution does it say that a mentally ill person can not be President.

 I never said stop,Your words, stop !

I don't think Trump is stopping bolton. But I sure as hell hope the executive branch is vetting what he can and can't say by reviewing boltons publication!

Go back to post # 46  just to see one example. Do you know whats in the book that needs to be examined! I sure as hell don't! So the office of this branch(executive branch) is vetting it with other agencies .

You do know there are three branches to the gov, don't you! Do you know all the laws about what former employees can divulge! Did you know there are rules and federal laws regarding , the executive branch former employees,  they sign many waivers of compliance  to rules and guidelines,

A employee is subjected to federal waivers involving many agencies of the federal gov.  I imagine with the office of defense(bolton being the head),it has many more,  especially dealing with private conversations and national security concerns with the  office of the Presidency.

There are restrictions that are in place  that are categorized, as

as other restrictions!

"Other Restrictions, A former executive branch employee may be subject to additional restrictions imposed by agency-specific laws.

Caveat: The bullet points are not comprehensive. In general, former executive branch employees should seek advice from the Designated Agency Ethics Official or another ethics official at the agency in which the individual formerly served".

And your trust issue that you claim, lol

But it is not written in TNR 18 and is longer than half a page. Mr Trump won’t read it.

The cat is already out of the bag.

The current "president" who was never fully legitimate in the first place is guilty of a plethora of impeachable offenses (but still protected by his republican minions).

But we knew that already.

On to November.
