Sorry in advance, I am sure this info is more than likely elswhere, but I am in a desperate situation

My Son is on a one day overstay we planned to go to the Mae Sai border today from CM but my Son has left his airline tickets in BKK .

As he is on back to back touist visas and this will be his third and final stamp does he need to provide evidence of his return flight?

I know he needs to show the 10,000 baht ,but its the airline tickets that worry me.

We dont want to make a day trip to the border for nothing

The tickets have been required at Cambodia borders not others for the moment.

Having said that you never know if they are going to ask for the tickets or not, maybe check when going out of Thailand not to be stuck on the other side.....

Maybe try to print an itinerary which might be OK instead of the real ticket
