Not true. Quarantine regulations, as they were, applied to all subject to them no matter how you arrived.

Show me a link that excepted dinghies.

Unless of course, you were making an off topic comment promoting false claims on immigration...

Just do a search you will see French navel boats escorting illegals into British waters.  But of course you want find it on main stream media like the BBC ect. So no it is not a false claim

If that happened and I do mean if, answer the following please.

Those people are exempted from quarantine under uk regulations are they?

That’s what happens is it?

Thats what the current rules state is it?

Link to that news please and not a conspiracy theory site or a YouTube nutter.

After all, that is what the poster claimed.

The world is panicking as countries economies collapse and industries struggle to recover

Correct, economies are collapsing and social distancing requirements will make sure they don't recover quickly. Every bus I've seen for the past week has had no more than 2 or 3 customers on board, sometimes none on board. The government is bailing them out and when the subsidies finish in August then what happens, bus companies can't make a profit on 2 or 3 customers.

Problem is the borders never closed and the quarantine regulations were introduced far too late

There never was a genuine quarantine. It was self isolation.

You either acted responsibly or you didn't. Nobody checked what you did or not.

yeah Fauci described it perfectly in his last briefing, he called it the lack of 'societal responsibility' in describing the virus case meltdown in the US presently and what went into causing it. Apparently this is not a common attribute in western civilization..

Ah progress.

Admitting that the same rules apply to all.

Jolly good.

So you are denying that the majority of people are not at risk from the Covid virus? Please post the evidence or stop fear-mongering.

Yes, its the people at risk who are in danger , or do you just care about yourself and arent bothered about contracting and spreading the virus ?

I watched a top medical scientist who said that there is doubt concerning immunity from the virus as the bodies immune system appears to taper off to zero after 3 months

Name that moron please, he surely knows nothing about what he's talking.

Taken together, these changes will make it easier for Britons to travel abroad for summer holidays.

Easier for holidays? Very important?

500,000+ dead already.

UK number 3.

Having not been in the UK for a while I'll take your word for it, sounds about right.

Although I assume that Thailand will be in the low risk category, the big problem is travel. For us it means 3 flights and 4 airports next week - similar for many people I expect.  The chances of catching the virus increase exponentially with travel wherever you come from. The quarantine relaxation is commercially driven not care driven. Par for the course in the UK so far, even if it might suit us personally.

So looks like we may get out soon to UK. But we we get back again?

You can get out without any problems, I did with KLM.

Therein is the problem, even with a re entry permit and then turned away at Immigration and the rules could change here whilst you are away then you really are stuck!
