What is the best health insurance for someone with a low budget?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm 27.

I used Bupa Health insurance for 4 years, paying 2,400 THB a month for 5 million baht coverage. But I read they don't exist anymore. They were bought.

And they were great and paid for 2 procedures in Pattaya Bangkok Hospital that cost much more than what I paid to them in total over the years...

So now I need to find another one.

Who do you use as health insurance and you are satisfied with them?

I have a low budget but still want good coverage.

Thank you very much.

PS: it would be a plus if they work easily with Pattaya Bangkok Hospital, as I said. And others modern Bangkok hospital.

Thanks again ❤️

Aetna health Insurance bought BUPA and insurance options are still the same.  Google Aetna Health Insurance Thailand and go to their website and judge for yourself.

At 27 years old that's great. Get to 72 and Aetna's premiums, and most other companies, are out of this world. I got quoted £3500 to renew my Aetna after 6 years with them.

But it covers up to Bht 12M. Why can they not say halve the premium for half the cover. Then I could think about it.

At your age, there is a vast range of choice. Best to go through a broker, not only will they give you detailed info on options and comparative charts, but also help with claims afterwards.

Best broker by far IMO is AA brokers. They specialize in insurance for expats and have westerners on staff.
