snakes are part of the biodiversity, but i can't stand them. 

The rat snakes are among the biggest snakes around and resemble the king cobra quite a bit. the big 3 so to speak. But yeah simply too many rats (pussies & dogs too) for the food chain to be broken so snakes will prevail until they get too big like this one & then gets found out & taken away somewhere? Where do they take the snakes after catching them? ????

Python Stew

 

1. Skin the snake. Chop into pieces.

2. Dust lightly with seasoned flour [salt+pepper]

3. Put into a frying pan with palm oil

4. Separately, make a sauce of tomatoes, onions, shallots, thyme, green chili peppers and bay leaf.

5. Put the sauce into the pan with the snake meat.

6. Simmer, covered for 5 hours, adding liquid as required.

7. Flame and serve

And just why anyone has that many cats - the python should be turned loose on all the stray dogs!
