Grounding of water heater
I am not an electrician. I would think it definitely requires an earth connection. (Better to get the water heater manual and have a look at the circuit). You would have to check that the metal pipe is at earth potential and that would require an electrician with a Megga I think. You could or should also install an RCBO where the waterheater breaker is now. I think you need an electrician. -

Trump’s Bold Stand Against Campus Antisemitism Sends a Clear Message
You seem to believe Mahmoud Khalil is being deported for making a specific speech. That's not the case. He was arrested and will be deported for actions in support of Hamas. Moreover, his actions as well as his words as one of the leaders of anti-Israel protests at Columbia harassed and threatened Jewish students. A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security, Tricia McLaughlin, "signaled the arrest was directly connected to Khalil’s role in the protests, alleging he 'led activities aligned to Hamas, a designated terrorist organization'.” She also described the arrest as being “in support of President Trump’s executive orders prohibiting anti-Semitism.” https://apnews.com/article/columbia-university-mahmoud-khalil-ice-15014bcbb921f21a9f704d5acdcae7a8 "This is not about free speech," Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters. "This is about people who do not have a right to be in the United States to begin with. No one has a right to a student visa. No one has a right to a greed card by the way." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/rubio-revoking-columbia-agitator-mahmoud-khalils-green-card-not-about-free-speech "New York state Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz, a Republican, also bucked the narrative that Khalil's case is focused on First Amendment rights, saying he wasn't arrested 'for holding a sign or chanting in a quad,' he was arrested 'because he actively engaged in activities aligned with Hamas, a blood-soaked organization that massacres civilians.' "'Let’s dispense with the nonsense — this isn’t a debate over free speech; it’s a matter of national security, plain and simple,' he said. 'The First Amendment protects words, not actions taken in service of a terrorist cause.'" https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pro-hamas-activists-deportation-not-free-speech-matter-law-trumps-side-experts -

New Shuttle Service Bridges Bangkok's Airports to Pattaya Shores
Perfect. Can we make sure the brothel creepers don't hop off the bus and stray. And then put a wall around the whole city. Nobody else in Thailand wants to be exposed to them - and they have no interest in real Thailand. -

Russia Rejects Trump's Temporary Ukraine Ceasefire Offer
No surprises then. A 30 day truce only benefits Ukraine that can build up it's defenses and Trump who gets to brag about how he stopped the war. IMO Putin would have to be an idiot to agree to something like that with a resumption of attacks the day after. No doubt he has seen the result of stage one in the Gaza ceasefire, and isn't going to be fooled as well. -

Donald Trump has upended millions of lives in his first 50 days in office
In just 50 days, Donald Trump has upended our world. He has ripped up rules, attacked allies and sided with enemies. A country we thought for decades had our backs is no longer a reliable partner. We travelled thousands of miles to ask what that means for our lives and millions of others - from the sweltering backstreets of Africa to the frozen wastes of Greenland and Finland's tense border with Russia. Donald Trump's supporters at home and abroad see him as the disruptor-in-chief who will bring peace and prosperity, putting America first. But to many others we found he threatens chaos and a far darker future. 50 days of Donald Trump: How the world order turned upside down | The World with Gillian Joseph Based on a report by Sky News 2025-03-14
