Just wondering how much they might cost and if they can be set down using a Hiab truck mounted crane or if they need an independent crane.

I'm wondering if it would be cheaper than building a 6 x 3m block built shed.

Typically an empty 20 foot shipping container weighs between 1.8-2.2 metric tons (about 3,970 - 4,850 lb)

Hiab truck mount would depend on the size/capacity.

I have seen prices at 45,000 thb and up

Then you have to add in the delivery fee

100 - 200 KM  8,000 to 12,000 baht

200 - 400 KM 12,000 to 18,000 baht

400 + KM 12,000 to 18,000 baht

Cement block would be much cheaper.

Haven't bought one but a quick look on Facebook Market place (I'm in Rayong) shows 20' containers going for 30,000 baht and up.

Don't know about transporting it to your place but I suspect its negotiable.   Good luck!

I don't have one here but down in Oz I used to have containers I had bought in China filled with products made in China I  imported and sold. Take it from me...they are as hot as hell inside in the summer.  Because of the heat we put together in pairs with many stacks of 4 pallets on the roof and old truck tarps across the top to block the sun.  Only had a small warehouse so we left half of product in containers. Once empty I sold the containers. Ps: The first few lots of containers were secondhand bought sight unseen...which was a mistake.  After that I bought new from the one factory and never had another problem!
