Billpro785
Not sure if this the right area to post, if not feel free to move. I have a friend in the states that needs a medical procedure and would like to have it done here in Thailand than in the states due to the virus. Is there a web site that details the steps needed to get a medical tourism entry into Thialand ?

Sheryl
As you can see, it is far from easy. if your friend does proceed with this please post the outcome. A major hitch will be the lack of any commercial flights. He will need to be allowed onto a repatriation flight arranged by the Embassy. The website does nto mention this and it is a significant barrier as priority is given tio returning Thais and the lfights are often full with waiting list. , suggest he call the Embassy and ask about this before going any further on thsi track.. Arjy2000k
Big major barrier is if your 'friend' can have the procedure done in America, then he won't be considered. It's mainly for surrounding lesser developed nations, and i believe provinces in China, to come and have certain procedures done that can't be done in their homeland. Gender reassignemnt surgery is definately one. But a simple hair transplant, or a muscle sprain won't be considered.
