Red Bull "Boss" latest: Police claim cocaine was from dental treatment and suspect drank AFTER hit and run incident

Picture: Daily News

Police have told a House committee investigating the case of Red Bull heir Vorayuth Yoovidyha that a dentist told them cocaine found in his system came from medication for a tooth complaint.

Songkhla MP Natchanon Srikorkeua, spokesman of the panel, told the Thai press yesterday this was the reason the police did not prosecute the man known as Boss for narcotics' use.

Daily News also reported that Boss was tested for alcohol ten hours after the incident in which he drove his Ferrari into Sen Sgt Wichian Klanprasert of the Thong Lo constabulary. He showed an alcohol rating of 60 milligrams.

Thaivisa notes that 50 is the limit.

Boss apparently explained this away by saying that he had been drinking AFTER the incident due to stress.

He denied drinking while driving.

Police still think that he had consumed food after the incident in an effort to lower his alcohol level.

One of their own was killed by this piece of **** and they come up with **** like this, I'd rather they just shut up.

  • I tell you what - if I ever decide to commit a string of serious crimes, I'm doing it in Thailand. I've never seen law enforcement elsewhere go so out of their way to support criminals and defend them

Well OF COURSE! The fact that he was out partying in Thong Lor means nothing!

And since when is it the police's job to 'claim' anything!?

I tell you what - if I ever decide to commit a string of serious crimes, I'm doing it in Thailand. I've never seen law enforcement elsewhere go so out of their way to support criminals and defend them. We've got immigration welcoming him back, expert witnesses being replaced by witnesses so dumb they forgot to mention at the time what they saw, and now dentists saying it wasn't cocaine but something tantamount to novocaine.

Anyone would think the police were actively looking for ways not to prosecute.

Whats the speed limit on that soi where this accident occured?

Why has the fleeing an accident scence charge been dropped?

Is it not a crime to operate a vehicule while under the influence?

Fleeing to avoid prosecution isnt that a crime?

They have more than enuff broken laws to charge this guy with.

What was this medication? When was it prescribed?

Need a lot more details here.

Some people may think Thailand needs its own 'Star Chamber', I couldn't possibly comment.

I can see it now: I have a video of the said man stabbing and shooting ten people.

Police: Nah, The man in the video is a double of Boss. He was employed at the time as a decoy, owing to Boss's high profile and people trying to malign him. Unfortunately, he died from a drug overdose tomorrow.

Busted!

"Dental Anesthetics Are NOT Derived from Cocaine

It’s a common misconception that dental anesthetics have commonalities with cocaine because the names sound similar, but they do not. They’re different substances and the body processes them in different ways. Your employee will not test positive for cocaine after having any common dental anesthetic. Of course, it could be that he’s clean and genuinely believes the myth or it could be that he’s not clean and is trying to cover his tracks. There’s only one person who knows which is true."

Do dentists even use cocaine for treatment? I thought they used some sort of derivative. Maybe Lidocaine, Novocaine, or some other drug  Would any of them show up as cocaine positivity in any drug test?

Cocaine hydrochloride is an anesthetic (local) used by health-care professionals prior to surgical procedures that involve the nasal, laryngeal, or oral cavities. They have it all covered, don't they.

Sickening. ????

Not entirely true. Cocaine hydrochloride is an anesthetic (local) used by health-care professionals prior to surgical procedures that involve the nasal, laryngeal, or oral cavities.

The Police are definitely on the side of the defendant,

they are just taking any made up evidence as gospel.

Whichever way the story is spun it does not provide any  justification in ignoring the other serious  charge of  "hit and run" and all that legally implies regardless of "blame"  for the  accident.

There must be more than a brown envelope  involved. More likely a sealed shipping container !
