How do the police explain away him leaving the scene of an accident and blaming someone else for driving?

One of their own was killed by this piece of **** and they come up with **** like this, I'd rather they just shut up.

  • I tell you what - if I ever decide to commit a string of serious crimes, I'm doing it in Thailand. I've never seen law enforcement elsewhere go so out of their way to support criminals and defend them

The reality is that he was responsible for a fatal accident, fled the scene, tried to cover it up by claiming someone else was driving, lied repeatedly about the circumstances, jumped bail and didn't show up for trial on multiple occasions.  None of those things can be contested and eight year late witness statements and excuses are just a sideshow.

It would appear the usual brown envelope is not being used in this case

Instead they are sending large cardboard box's :whistling:

I get my Cocaine from California in the USA.  It comes with a warning that drinking alcohol and doing Cocaine while driving a Ferrari is a known no-no in California.  It might crimp your style.

As predicted, they are caught in a big lie and now lying more and more to try and obfuscate.

What an embarrassing mess.

It's like kids at school when they get caught doing something naughty, except the kids' lies are better and often more believable.

No shame with these people, They just keep on piling the BS and the horse poo higher and higher don't they?...

Anyone know where his dentist is? I would quite like to have treatment there as well, what a joke they are making out of it all. You would have more time for them if they just admitted he has escaped justice as he's rich and can pay his way out of prosecution.

So what have we learned here:

  • They will lie about anything for money or to save face
  • They are not clever enough to concoct a foolproof story
  • They will tell more and more lies to cover the original lie even if it makes them look like complete idiots
  • Witnesses that just came forward eight years later give evidence that is immediately believed by the prosecutor and charges are dropped, no need for a trial to prove the witnesses are telling the truth...
  • Witnesses will coincidentally die as soon as the lie starts to unravel
  • They don't have a clue when it comes to forensics and the effects of dental medicine
  • They believe everyone is just as stupid and gullible as themselves
  • They can't be trusted

Cocaine hydrochloride is an anesthetic (local) used by health-care professionals prior to surgical procedures that involve the nasal, laryngeal, or oral cavities. They have it all covered, don't they.

Sickening. ????

But he had alcohol in his system 10 hours after failing to stop, drinking after the fact of fleeing a hit and run, that's enough for me. Life in the Bangkok Hilton, should he survive his new surroundings, but the part I don't get is that they knew where he was, i.e. in the UK but didn't go to get him, but if you are a Thai student talking badly about a particular person in a high position here, they will come and get you and make you disappear, no pay off of course.

-When Mr Vorayuth drank alcohol, it mixed with the medicines which caused some chemical substances in the body to be released, Mr Natchanon quoted the police as saying.

It's like when kids get caught red handed and then start coming up with the most ridiculus lies.

All very predictable given their track record in framing the two poor Burmese scapegoats in Koh Tao.

I would love to know the total cost of this to Boss and family, 300,000 to the victim's family will be just the tip of the iceberg, buying off the judiciary and the entire police force does not come cheap, then there is buying all the experts and witnesses. Must be in the millions.

As a dentist, I am not familiar with any medications given that contain actual cocaine

there are local anesthetics, novacaine, mepiviciane, that have some structural similarity

but these are short-lived in the body

Wow. I had root canal treatment 4-5 times in the past 20 years since I have been in Thailand. Should I turn myself in as a drug user?

The rest of the world is laughing their as.es off at the Thai (un)justice system.

My dentist never prescribes me cocaine, looks like I need to find a new one, very unfair.

If use of Novocain or lidocaine (typical anesthetic used in dental work) could show up positive at a standard cocaine urine test then this would make a convenient story. Unfortunately this excuse was used many times before and proven false.

Police have told a House committee investigating the case of Red Bull heir Vorayuth Yoovidyha that a dentist told them cocaine found in his system came from medication for a tooth complaint.

Sounds about right.  My dentist always gives me a pipe-full of crack before working in my mouth.

I want this guy's dentist!!!!!!!!!!!! Name???

All this, while poor people getting 15 years jail for picking mushrooms in natioal parks at the wrong day!

I wish people would stop with this urban myth- they were found to have been involved in illegal logging.

As for 'Boss' will Thaigeezers reach 100 different threads of outrage. A few blood vessels must be bursting over something that is unlikely to affect any of their lives. This is how it works in Thailand- get over it.
