In any case, Thailand will be no different than Melbourne.

a mysterious 1-2 cases will show up somewhere that will bring in new fresh rounds of panic. just wait and see.

 

Questions are being asked in Germany, Berlin..ect

That's exactly the sort of silly irrational fear that's been peddled, which has made this flu shut down the whole world.

Yes but the worlds population is reportedly 7,800,000,000,

so 700,000 deaths is roughly 0.09%

and (reportedly) many deaths that shouldn't be reported as Covid are going down as such.

 

Yes Thailands going well,

and id say the death % is a lot lower than 0.09% of population,

but on the other hand (reportedly) the opposite is happening in Thai, where many Covid deaths could possibly be going down as something else.

 

We all want this thing to end, but how long is long enough?

What if we stay locked down for 1, 2 or 5 years, only to discover Covid is still around ??

Then we have trashed what was left of our lives and our economies..for absolutely NOTHING.

What The Barmbeker (and others) are talking about is, that Thais wouldn't know what "discipline" is, if it had it's bare @$$ in their face!

EXAMPLE(!!!): there is a law for wearing helmets, while driving a motorbike and (carefull estimate by myself) 50% of all people don't give a **** about that.

And when you are going out of the cities and into the sticks, the number will rise dramatically!

So to sumaraize: this comparisson is NOT about helmets vs mask, but about Thais vs discipline!

Yes, and I agree with her .

Thailand and people in Thailand have done extremely well in regards to fighting the virus and have made Thailand virus free .

  Other Countries havent done so well and other Countries reactions have been atrocious .

We were all wearing masks back in February and NOW, in the UK, people /Government still cannot decide whether they should be worn or not......................50 000 deaths and 7 months later .

  I agree with her opinion , which is nothing to do with her gender or nationality
