One thing more, when you see all poticians as liers, it quite deleted, right? Many politicians try to do a difference, try to make a better world, and do their best, but those will never be heard, since it is all about gold, myrrh and fairytales people do care about, nothing else, and it is brainwashed in to most people around the world, and that will never change before we get decent education systems, get people lifted out of poverty. 

 

We are not interested in that happening. Not interested at all, since it takes taxes from people To make it more fair for everyone.

ALL politicians spend other people's money, and they live off other people's money. That's what governments do.

I can overlook Sanders wanting to spend more of other people's money if he stuck it to Wall Street, so I supported him over Trump who was never going to put bankers in jail. When they stopped Bernie, I could not support Biden instead. If Biden came out and said he'd put every banker responsible for 2007 in jail he'd have my support, regardless of anything else.

So supported Trump who has further enriched wall street and slashed regulations that were passed by the democrats and that wall streeters bitterly objected to. Once again, you're just not credible.

Perhaps the thing I support him on most, is that he hasn't started any wars and doesn't look like starting any. I also like that he is withdrawing American military from Europe and making the Europeans spend more to protect themselves.

I agree 100% with everything you said.

 

"In my opinion" you forgot the following:

• Not giving billions of dollars to Iran.
• Bringing jobs back to the USA from China and Mexico.
• Lowering taxes, as that stimulates the economy, creating spending and more jobs
• More difficult to live on welfare (food stamps). In other words getting people off welfare.
• NATO participants are more financially accountable (you kind of covered this)
• He stopped Hillary Clinton from World Globalization 

 

And to repeat myself and many Trump supporters.  We don't love him or even like him as a person. However we feel he is less of all the evils out there.  Yes, he is a narcist and yes he lies, they all lie.  Most of Trump's lies are him trying to get on his soap box to lead the crowd like he would at a business convention.  It may work there, but it false short with his opponents, who want to fact check every word he says.

The bottom line, is most of the Trump supporters felt our country was being overrun by illegals. Plus all the tax money being spent or given to other countries was being taken advantage of.  No matter how much was spent, we were still the Evil USA.

 

This does not mean Trump supporters believe in abandoning our Ally's if required help (financial or military).

 

We have billions of dollars going to help the world, yet our veterans could not get decent healthcare, our mental health population has been put on the street, creating a huge and dangerous homeless population in most the large cities.  Plus our infrastructure is in need of a facelift. 

 

"Most" (not all) of Trump's opposition does not believe in any of this.

I aggree on the veteran part, and its a shame world wide how veterans is treated. I think the French legion still do, used to do, take good care of theirs. Cant say for sure it is still a valid system like they used to have.

Very good point.  Very valid.

 

But it has gone both ways over the last 245 years ago.

 

That is why we are allies.  

 

Without France the USA would be America and would be similar to Canada.

 

Without the USA and England, France (and all of most of Europe) would be Germany and/or Russia.

 

Without the USA and Russia, China and most of Asia would be Japan.

 

Without the USA there would be no South Korea, it would just be Korea.

 

Most of us who are in our 40's and up remember our history lessons of WWI and WWII and understand the sacrifice our ancestors made.

 

It is a shame the current culture in the USA (unsure of Europe) is ignorant of the history.  

 

Even the history of slaves in the USA and for the most part all of the world. It is shameful and wrong.  But is was what was normal back then.

 

I have no idea, how I should be held accountable something that happened hundreds or thousands of years ago.

 

I feel my only accountability is to help ensure if does not happen again. 

 

However, the educators need to teach history, not shame the countries involved and build animosity. 

 

I think one of the biggest obstacles is the blending of cultures.

 

We have a lot of discussions here about how we (farang) are treated in Thailand. 

 

We kind of expect to have Western options (language, food, technology, housing options).

 

Yet, we do not like the Muslims or the Hispanic (or whatever it is in your homeland) populations coming into our countries trying to change our culture into theirs.

 

I am just thinking out loud.  I know there are many other factors and many other opinions.

 

I actually respect most of everyone's opinions.  

 

I just dont respect yelling, and screaming, without acknowledgment of some things that are being done correctly on all sides.

 

I have yet to see an opponent of Trump say, he does this well, but he sucks at this.  It all finger pointing and negativity.

45 is an evil man. He has no redeeming features. His despicable ignorance has killed US citizens, ruined the health of countless others, and the consequences of this deliberate ignorance has cost the US economy dearly.

 

There is nothing good to say about 45 unless you are a very rich donor, and even those folks get thrown under the bus if they no longer serve his purposes.

Unfortunately, what happens in America affects the entire world, so who becomes president affects us all, whether American or not.

I can't vote for POTUS, but my future is affected by who wins in November. Far as I'm concerned my future got better when Trump more or less stopped the Trans Pacific Partnership, and she would probably have stayed in it.

My worries about Biden, on things that would affect me, are that he would support the man made climate change Paris agreement, and go easy on China and Iran.

Yeah, because withdrawing US forces and undermining alliances is the best way to make America stronger. Clearly the way forward to deal with the likes of Iran and the PRC. Or rather, not.

NZ signed and ratified TPP-11. Don't know about NZ, but assume alongside Australia, had addressed the items which were solely beneficial to the US prior to trump pulling out. H. Clinton had said she would pull out of TPP if elected, There are numerous observers who say trump handed over advantages to PRC by not signing TPP.
