webfact
Fire breaks out after taxi and BMW collide by Anti-Corruption Museum Picture: Sanook Sanook reported that a taxi and a BMW were involved in a collision on Phitsanulok Road in Bangkok yesterday that resulted in a fire in the engine compartment of the taxi. Both drivers denied being in the wrong. Security personnel from the Anti-Corruption Museum rushed out with a fire extinguisher. Firemen later arrived to finish the job. The taxi driver Weerasak said he was going straight and had no passenger at the time. His door was jammed and he had to jump out the left side as the fire took hold. The BMW driver, Sakun, 54, a building contractor, said he was coming in the opposite direction and claimed the taxi driver veered into his lane causing him to swerve to the left though not in time to avoid a collision. Sanook reported there was considerable consternation in the area from passing motorists and police as the fire erupted. For Thaivisa readers unfamiliar with the Anti-Corruption Museum, in Dusit district, their vision is as follows: "A leading national museum which functions as a learning center dedicated to promoting knowledge for the prevention and oppression of corruption and developing a virtuous and transparent society." It´s so bad that they must have a museum, for people to remember what it is. ???? 1
kotsak
Seems that place is bad luck, couple of weeks ago a student girl almost went through the ground when the sidewalk gave way and now this. Maybe something sinister is flowing underneath..

I can only guess that when something is rare enough, it warrants for being put in a museum. Edited August 28, 2020 by tgw 2

As much as i hate (and fear) correcting a moderator i think you used the wrong word. 'Stolen' sounds so bad, borrowed sounds so much nicer.
