Mobile App for Bangkok Cultural Tours Launched

BANGKOK, September 3 (TNA) – “Treasure Trip” mobile application offers a new way to explore cultural trails in Bangkok.

 

The Ministry of Culture on Thursday launched the application under its programme called “Thai Way in the Digital Age.” 

 

Culture Minister Itthiphol Khunplome said that the application allowed users to make their trip through Bangkok’s historical sites and neighbourhoods along the MRT subway and BTS elevated train routes.

Just downloaded this app. It's not terrible, but not nearly as useful or thorough as it could be. I'm also not impressed by the fact that it lists the Queen Sirikit Center as "open", when in fact it's currently a giant hole in the ground filled with construction equipment, and has been for quite a while now.

If they don't get impaled on any badly transported iron bars on the way .. be handy if they including the nearest major trauma E R centres as well ..
