Well I might prefer sharing the 2rows with some enclosed batteries.... more so than say LPG tanks.

It could be a good idea however it will not be easy to control all the small streets coming on Bukkhao on the 2 sides, plus the hotels, restaurants and bars in the area need to receive supplies and customers most of them come with vehicles, An option could be to open for all vehicles in the morning for the supplies and only for motorbikes in the afternoon and the evening. still the problem about the enforcement of it, you can not put a policeman at every small street coming on the 2 sides of Bukkhao

Yes, some parts have no sidewalk. They could easily have put another road through the wasteland nearby, but allowed those new condos to be built. City hall has no clue how to run a city. Well we were talking of songtaews which are usually diesel, and I am considering the full conversion not just the tank... like those that burst into flames here and burn the occupants to cinders. If they were 'no more dangerous' than petrol why do passengers have to disembark when gas minibuses are refilled!

Walking Street was dying before Covid. Just too expensive now for your average monger from the west. LK Metro is practically a Walking Street now. (pre Covid) They could block off Soi Baukhao from Soi Diana to say just past Tree Town between 6pm and 5am. Bars restocked during the day. Access still available up the little alleys from Second Road and Third Road. Baht Buses can still circulate because they can still turn left and right on Soi Baukhao. It would make it a lot safer in that area as there are a lot of drunk riders / drivers around that area, with a lot of drunk pedestrian traffic. Of course, the wealthy Thai landlords owning property on Walking Street wouldn't want to see their properties devalued, although it was their ridiculous rents that killed Walking Street in the first place.

For the life of me i cannot understand why council lets him get away with it if you ride bike down soi 19 to Bukhaow and turn left you are lookin for traffic coming from your right not motocyc zipping round corner from veggie shop, maybe one day when big accident happen then they do something typical Thailand

Two or three deaths there may get something done.
