PM urges protesters to hold off rallies until Covid-19 crisis has ended

Was in a crowded restaurant in Saigon.   Very little fear here.

If he was fairly elected, and that is a big if, he barely won, then he went after the car parts mogul. He was a threat to the army and the 1% but a champion of the Thai people.   Most of the elected world thinks little of his win.  He is an embarrassment to Thailand.

I fear the only way P and cronies will be unseated is by what was recently denied. If you thought this bunch were bad just wait and see what is likely to happen.

Interestingly a strong link to the university currently leading the protests, and that did not end well.

Sincerely hope I am wrong.

"Your protests delay economic recovery because you affect business confidence, and you affect the confidence of tourists to return to our country when we are ready to receive them."

So , the recent protests will keep future tourists away once the country will be open again ... strange logic .

Prayut also warned that political unrest would delay economic recovery, as it would dent investors’ confidence and deter tourists from visiting Thailand once the borders are open. Rallies will also shift the government’s focus from solving economic problems.

Exactly   !   He is correct in every statement made as it serves absolutely no benefit in hold a protest with hundreds or a thousand Thai's all close together and not adhering to any social distancing or COVID transmission safety requirements.

The protestors will only exasperate and diminish their plight.  They will do more harm than good toward their cause.

They are united, against you.... Using the Covid card to stop the protests is pitiful.

You've been banging on how wonderfully you've contained & eliminated it in the public sectors for over 100 days, quarantine we are told hold all the infections.

So where is the risk coming from.... ?

If any risk from students exists why are all the schools & Uni's open ?

You know better than to ask difficult contrary questions, you also know very well that he doesn't like it.
