Extend emergency: yes.

Extend amnesty: no.

Yes for medical reasons.

No because it's only foreigners that want amnesty. And that would prolong the medical necessity for the state of emergency.

I'm fully aware that you face the same problem in your home countries where you can't get the pandemic under control. But Thailand has and was successful in that. So please stop blaming Thailand for Farang countries' failures. Do the maths and learn about the danger of exponential growth instead.

Ah - ok, so that is a latest "reasoning" in the ongoing Controla virus agenda, great reason for creating the biggest mental health and poverty crisis in history, sure they will be right, after all, Politicians never lie, it's for our own safety - yeh right!

Lets add that one to the list. - Done! ????

The virus comes from bats
The origin of the virus may be bat soup
It comes from Wuhan open air wet markets
All Chinese wet markets should be closed immediately
There is an intermediate animal vector but we don’t know what it is
No intermediate animal vector can be identified
It is a bat virus from bats
The origin of the virus may not be bat soup
The virus cannot possibly be manmade and NO DISCUSSION of this can take place
The virus is NOT a bioweapon and NO DISCUSSION of this can take place

We must close our hospitals to save them
We have to build emergency testing centers
Mass graves are being dug
We must stop all hospital treatments of other diseases
All routine surgery must stop even for cancer patients
Dying from cancer or heart disease is OK but not if you have Covid 19
Then it is horrible, Covid 19 deaths are horrible
The hospitals must stand empty, waiting for the onslaught

It doesn’t matter what type of mask you wear
It doesn’t matter how often you change your mask
It doesn’t matter where you dispose of your mask
Wear gloves

If you are walking, you must wear a mask
If you are jogging, you do not need to wear a mask

Rapid Antibody Tests are of no use
We don’t need thousands of new intensive care ventilators
We have no idea for how long the virus is infectious
A quarantine period of exactly 2 weeks is mandated and will stop the spread
We are all in this together

Hotel quarantines will be policed by untrained, unemployed people

The second wave is dangerous
Nothing is our fault, nothing

We will continue to label all deaths as Covid deaths
We will not discuss the fact that 94% of “Covid” deaths are from co-morbid diseases
We will continue to emphasize “case” numbers and not death numbers
We will not define what a “case” is — Never — Case numbers are paramount
We will never compare death numbers of Covid 19 versus Influenza death rates
No comparisons between Covid and Influenza epidemics will be tolerated
You can rely on us to generate maximum panic and fear
That is our solemn promise to keep you safe
We care for you, this is not about politics
We are virtuous, caring, taking medical advice, in control
The second wave is not so dangerous
That is all  —  apologies to MASH and Animal Farm/George Orwell
We are all in this together
Staying Apart Keeps Us Together.

There will be a second and 3rd and you get the message, lots of waves until we have subdued the masses and can control them with ease.

Did you really take the time to write that or just cut and paste, anyway could not be bothered to read it all, heard it all before, only one country wins out of this China, the country that let it out.

today's list of jobs to do around the house:

turn on brain:

total number of students gathering illegally: 50+ thousand in the past month?

total number of new cases of Covid during the same period: 10+ (all brought it in from abroad).

solution: ban students for acting irresponsibility and against the health interests of the country

write note to self, to leave brain turned off.

turn on 'Thai' smile.

turn off brain.

These issues and problems were becoming apparent long before Covid. And none were being addressed. That is part of my point.

They say they want rich tourists. What sacrifices are the ministers willing to make, to get them? Rich tourists like to spend money when they travel. And they cannot do that here, as they do not like getting taken for a ride. Most wealthy people are smart with their money. Thailand could be making a fortune on a 25% luxury tax. Instead of the 100% or more, which discourages most people from buying. How many people do you see in the luxury stores here? They are almost always completely empty. Inane. Beyond inane.

Are they addressing critical issues, like the air and water quality, traffic safety, public transportation on the southern islands, rapid rail transport, and the lack of law enforcement? No. Nothing, and I mean less than zero is being done.

So, as a result of this gross negligence, they are only able to attract primarily lower to middle income Indian and Chinese tourists. The Western tourists have abandoned Thailand for the most part. A fraction of the number that used to come here, return.

Quantity over quality is never a good thing, unless you are selling one dollar items at a swap meet. It just lowers the quality of the experience for all.

There is no such thing as rich tourist lol. What a f joke. My brothers rich owns 3 mill in New watches and he buys copy shirts sometimes. His rich from hard work smarts and would not give away his money to Prayut and the dwarfs. He would buy genuine nothing from Asia nor would anyone else with a brain. He can buy at home safely. Prayut a dreamer lost.

I buy everything from Asia, especially my clothes. And I buy them in Asia, because I'm skinny like an Asian.

You're sure you never bought anything from Asia? Not even the hardware device you're using?

In other words, there is a public health "emergency" (their words). But, it is not a big enough emergency to stop them from kicking people out. That is the fairytale reason.

The real reason is people are not actually scared of covid. There really is no emergency. But, they do like the thought of kicking people out.

Think of this situation like your house. If there truly was an "emergency" going on outside, riots-violence-apocalypse-whatever, would you use that opportunity to kick people out of your house in the middle of the emergency? There is no emergency.

There's always an emergency when you reach the limits of growth.

The growth of an uncontrolled pandemic is exponential, you know.

Yet people are still speculating with these imaginary time limits and scenarios.

How does anyone know?

It could wind up very quickly.

Australia is looking like its well on the path to an end of it all.

Do you expect places like Australia will just sit on their heels for years on end,

ruining the economy?

watching suicides go through the roof..

just for the หell of it?..

And if Covid free in the next month or so?

It seemed the Aus prime minister was snapping out of it for a moment,

but it seems he has crawled back into his box again.

maybe told to "belt it" from international power entities?

Anyway, the doom and gloom negativity and BS on here and other places is just incredible.

I really dont understand what people get out of it.

Yes, we have "sad sacks" in Australia who have never been on a plane, so of course they are jealous of anyone who actually has A LIFE!!

They wouldnt mind if the world is locked down for xx years.

doesnt effect them!

But even people who were actually once travellers themselves, saying no travel for 6months..1, 2 years?????

I've even read idiots on here claiming there will be no international travel for 5 years.

How anyone can come to these conclusions is beyond me.

Heres my prediction:

There will be mass rioting everywhere in the world if this BS is allowed to go on for another 3 months....

The people who crave an actual life will be out lynching these fools and cowards who want to keep everything locked down forever..

All for the sake of a slightly worse than average flu.

I have a friend in Thailand (Brit) who is going to the USA for a few months holiday, says that there are no restrictions on movement between the two countries provided he has not been to Europe recently.

State of Emergency October, November, December, January 2021, February, March, April, ...

No way it will end 2021. Second, third waves, the virus is not going anywhere. It is here to stay.  We can hide under the blankets as long as we like, but COVID19 is too widespread to ever be eradicated.  Plus the many mutations.

Question is how to live with it for possibly many years.  It won't vanish like magic.  Doesn't work like that.

What part of Thailand's extended SoE has created the biggest personal problem for the noisome farang squatters herein?

What exactly is the problem that has become so unbearable for others here?

For me, I can still go shopping, buy food, run my kids to school, dine out, drink beer with my mates, go to beach or a National Park, stay in a hotel, access unlimited high-speed internet and enjoy uncensored social media video chat with family and friends back home, bring money into the country, buy a condo, order stuff online, etc., etc...

You are an idiot, there are people who had their long term visas expire while not being able to return to their homes in Thailand. My wife and I for 2 , and we have been living in

Thailand for 8 great years. We just happened to be on vacation when the <deleted> hit the fan, MATE!
