New Colour Scheme

Featured Replies

Hi,

There are many cases with the new colour scheme where you have white text on a very light blue background. Can this be changed please, as it's very hard on the eyes.

Also, with the new thread envelope symbols, there are sometimes instances where part of the envelope is missing, what do these mean?

Thanks.

The scheme was changed back yesterday so perhaps it is still in your cache. If using Firefox, use CTRL F5 to reload the page bypassing the cache to see if it reverts back to the original theme. Will only effect the white/light blue and the buttons. If this isn't what you are referring to could you post a screen capture of the problem?

Ah, thanks, much better.

But for the envelopes thing, the attached is an example fo what I'm referring to - you see, where the envelope looks like it's open or something?

Doesn't show up in the legend. Just a guess and that it is topics you have posted in. I see the white versions also, but only in topics I have posted.

Just went back several pages and it only shows in topics I have replied to so that appears to be it. Nice feature I must say. May have been there before but much more obvious now.

Or ones that you're subscribed to, I was just thinking. Anyway, yes, nice feature.

Good point. Since I have enabled automatic subscription to any topic I reply in that could be it also. Will wait for someone to verify which way it is. Thanks for that info.

OK, just to try it out, I subscribed to a thread I haven't posted in. The envelope remained as it was before, so looks very likely that it represents threads that you've posted in.

Also just noticed this. Must be topics I replied to as I do not subscribe to individual topics anymore...nice feature!

That feature was present in all the other versions we have had too.

Do you think someone might consider ensuing the updated image for [ADD REPLY] is loaded on to the server?

Have to say this new slightly 'wet look' is not to my taste, and the white on pale blue for subject headers seems a curious choice.

The I.D mark for having posted in a thread was there before only not so obvious, it used to be in the bottom right corner.

Just to add, as is mentioned in the 'other topic' there is the ability to hover over the icons to read their description, though this only works in Internet Explorer <sigh> Not using the Title attribute.
