Actually GSK is a British company with HQ in the USA.

I just googled the chemistry make up and found the generic medicine is the same as your Valtrex.

The medicine you are looking for I believe is to treat herpes simplex virus ....  as such the ingredient or chemical makeup is Acyclovir. You can go to any Pharmacy in Bangkok or outside and get the generic brand which will be cheaper and offer the same effect.

Zevis

Herpenon

or any brand that contains Acyclorvir.

He is asking about valaciclovir not acyclovir. Same family of drugs, same action but not the exact same thing.

OP if you want only valaciclovir, the only brand available in Thailand is Valtrex. it will cost you 400 - 500 baht for a package if 6.

As for ordering it online from abroad:

- technically illegal to import pharmaceuticals by mail, though small quantities  sent by regular post, NOT courier, are usually waved through. However with COVID international mail disruptions this might not be possible. Gauranteed you will have problems getting it via courier (it will be stuck in customs and you will be asked to produce an FDA import license).

- Depending on where you get it from, no guarantee as to quality or even if real.

I suggest you contact your doctor, explain there is a financial constraint and ask if you can take acyclovir instead. That is available in locally made inexpensive brands.
