Any suggestion is superfluous, because it will change absolutely nothing. And the reality is that despite all our inventions and all our progress, we are still the same apes who were once driven out of the forest by the other primates thousands of years ago. We have the same tribalistic instincts as our ancestors; we derive our identity from belonging to a group—whether family, ethnicity, religion, or country of birth—and try to elevate our group above others, which leads to the devaluation of or hostility toward outsiders. This can be observed on a large scale with countries. But even within a country, subgroups emerge depending on the city of birth, and within cities, further groups form based on social status, and time and again we try to set ourselves above others. This is our instinct, our genetically hardwired software, which cannot simply be turned off or rewritten. And that is why it will also be our downfall. Strictly speaking, we are evolved apes with all the jungle instincts and typical primate aggressiveness, who now possess weapons that can wipe out entire regions and make them uninhabitable at the touch of a button. Just look at all the comments in this forum; it couldn't be more bizarre. There are people who take away other people's land and murder them, justifying it by claiming that according to a book written 3,000 years ago by some shepherds, this land was promised to them by a supernatural being. Yet, these same people also claim that the highest commandments of this supernatural being include, among others, "Thou shalt not kill," "Thou shalt not steal," and "Thou shalt not lie"—and yet they indulge in their bloodlust daily, justifying it with absurd excuses. And they are supported by the Western world, which is so proud of its Christian core values based on "love thy neighbor as thyself" and its freedoms, including freedom of speech, but nevertheless has no problem sending money and weapons to mass murderers and to suppress any criticism of them within their own country. Furthermore, here in this forum, there are adults and supposedly good people who not only support this claim to land based on the promise of a supernatural being from over 3,000 years ago, but also protect and back the mass murder of innocent people. You couldn't even make up this kind of madness. There is nothing that can be done. We are doomed.
