Forget the polls. Business is now betting on a Biden win.

Rather than this  topic be derailed into a distraction  about variables  of  distraction over questionable states  of  dementia ,despite  that being an aspect of the political  battle for  POTUS  election , it is the  impact  on the outcome  of the capacity of the  combatants that is the real issue.

While  Biden presents as an unoffensive  personality  who at least tries to appeal to a society more  harmonious than that Trump has been encouraging it is no surprise the  self defensive  nature of the majority are dubious at  very least  of what Trump  has  demonstrated so  far and continues to promote.

With exception to a militant minority he has obliterated the facade of  promise.

Umm....you're supporting a President who mocks critics and rivals by doing  bad imitations of them. In public.

The polls will no doubt keep growing in Biden's favor until election day.  Heck, according to the New York Times, Hillary had 92% of the vote to Trump's 8% the night before she won the 2016 presidential elections.

"Psst!  She didn't win."
Oh!

I don't think polls showed HRC having 92% of the vote, but rather a 92% chance to win. That too, depends on specific times polls were taken.

Well a years old texting error in a tweet is a particularly poor example, but sure Trump gaffes.

How much content does Trump put out compared to Biden would you say? How many tweets, interviews, speeches, rallies, press conferences taking tough questions from a hostile media.

What would be the ratio over the last 4 years would you say???? 100,000/1?

Years old....like it was something ancient. Sure. As said and as posted by others, plenty of other examples you can raise bogus 'issues' with and deflect.

Trump produces a lot of 'content'. Yes. A lot of it is nonsense, lies, misinformation, rants and attacks on critics and rivals. Not sure how this supports your deflection attempt. Hostile media? He often cuts press meetings when questions are uncomfortable, ignores questions from reporters or media venues he doesn't like, and lately mostly giving interviews and such on Fox or worse.

This election is dramatically different. Hillary was one of the most hated candidates in history. This time 45 has taken on that role.

If as you claim, " Hillary was one of the most hated candidates in history".

Why is it that days before the 2016 election Hillary was credited with a 92% chance of victory, all the "experts", the MSM, political pundits, talk show hosts anybody who was anybody, spouting their words of wisdom, " there is no possible way Donald Trump can win this election".

Do you remember that.?

I do, in fact sometimes when I get a bit low, I check out a compilation on you tube of all those " experts" espousing their opinions.

Always makes me chuckle. By the way, I've just seen a Biden / Harris rally ( if you can call it that) in Arizona, 8 people turned up, even the on board news anchor, couldn't talk that one up.

Yet again more Trump supporters turned up to a Biden " rally", than Biden supporters and heckled from distance.

In contrast VP Pence drew a crowd of 4000 in Florida.

Funnily enough I see that same confidence in a vast majority of the posters on here, it couldn't happen again could it.?

The point being that Biden's gaffe rate under considerably less pressure is still as a percentage infinitely higher that Trumps.

Particularly the highly respected poll specialist Nate Silver gave the reality t.v. show character quite respectable odds.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/

Interesting, for 2020 Nate Silver is giving 45 about a 12 percent chance of winning compared to the 29 percent chance he gave in 2016.

From time to time? It's a daily occurrence with him. In fact multiple times per day. The arithmetic says it has to be so.

And can you share with us your calculations that Biden's gaffe rate is "infinitely higher" than Trump's? Or even just plain higher?

???????????? Oh fake news.

So Biden / Harris show up together on their Bus tour at an event in Phoenix, but they didn't want anyone to know because they're worried about the huge crowd that would have shown up contracting corona virus.

Okay got it.

The Democrats must be supremely confident they've got their mail in voting fraud dialled in, because this has to be the most ridiculous election campaign in the history of electioneering.

First they choose a candidate that doesn't even know what state he's in at any given time, what position he's campaigning for, or even occasionally who he is.

He can't read from a teleprompter. refuses to answer any questions on his position on important issues and hides in his basement for months.

For running mate they choose Harris, who for the 5 minutes she lasted in the primaries, labelled Biden among other things a racist, and when lamely asked about it by a fawning " journalist" was allowed to laugh it off in a wholly unconvincing manner.

Another one that can't answer a simple question and flip flops her position on various issues, according to how the wind blows.

If the American people elect these two phoneys to the white house they really do deserve everything they'll get.

Allow me to explain why he is doing the rallies. Trump is a symbol of positivity, in fact he is the essence of positivity. His whole 1st term was about getting stuff done, getting the minorities back into work(without a magic wand), renegotiating or cancelling dubious foreign treaties to make life better for Americans. It is all positive. Conversely, the democrats are the symbol of negativity. Overbearing negativity, moaning and carping about anything and everything for the last 4 years, and the only message they have going in to the election is that Biden is not Trump, yet another negative.

The rally is an overt symbol. It's OK guys, come out from hiding. Look at how strong President Trump is, look how he shook off the virus that wrecked the world economy, hopes and dreams of so many. Let's get back to work, let's start living life again. This is America, we will prevail. A message that resonates with many I'm sure. The contrast between Trump's message of hope, and the democrats message and actions since the 2016 election is night and day.

The only piece of truth I could find in all of this cartoon propaganda comedy was "Trump is a symbol of positivity"....you are right Top Dead, Trump is absolutely the symbol of testing positive for Covid 19 in the USA.....well done. The rest of this reads like a North Korean Love Letter informercial for Dear Leader and about as accurate and factual.

Stop spreading fake news. As the fact-checking article stated, the Biden campaign doesn't want to generate crowds that promote the spread of covid. Unlike a certain other campaign beholden to a man child with a bottomless need for adulation. This from the same article:

"Eric Trump, the president’s second son, retweeted a clip of Garcia’s segment that was  deceptively edited to remove the part where she talks about the campaign choosing not to invite the public to avoid drawing a crowd. The video has been viewed on YouTube nearly 50,000 times."

Yesterday I posted that Trump's modus operandi is to repeat a lie over and over again and eventually some will be brainwashed into actually believing the lie is true.  Exhibit A here with you parroting Trump's often repeated lie regarding mail-in voter fraud.  Hope the Kool-Aid was tasty.  (Trump condemns mail-in voting but always votes by mail himself, talk about a fraud.)

Unfortunate that you used 'flip flops' in your post.  Right now we are witnessing the largest mass political flip flop in history.  I'm speaking, of course, of all the Republican senators who in 2016 declared that no Supreme Court vacancy should ever be filled in a Presidential election year.  Fast forward to 2020 and all these Republican hypocrites have flip flopped.

What is it that you don't understand about 2016 whereby the Democrats held the White House (Obama) but not the Senate ( republican). Fast forward four years, now the white House is republican (Trump), oh look the Senate is also republican.

Ergo the president can move to nominate a SC Justice, to fill a vacancy as the constitution requires him to do.

Do you see how it works.?

Furthermore on the subject of hypocrisy, do you also recall 4 years ago when Obama, Biden and the rest of the Democrats were calling on the Senate to " do your job".

Well now they are "doing their job" and surprise, surprise yet more democrat bleating and  claims of hypocrisy by the masters of hypocrisy themselves.

As for your rant about Trump voting by mail, I would expect he applies for an absentee ballot, thereby being registered and I'd, which is completely different from mass unsolicited ballots sent all round the state.

You probably know that, but as it doesn't fit the narrative you prefer to continue with the lies and hatred along with the rest of your kind.

Oh, my.  That's an awful lot of heavy lifting trying in vain to justify all those Republican flip flops.  Really clutching at straws with the who holds the Senate argument.  If you read the Republican senator statements in 2016, I don't see that even mentioned--but even if it was it holds no water. Almost all gave as their reason that the next President should fill the seat.  Republican senator Gardner's statement is typical:  “… the next president of the United States should have the opportunity to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court.” March 16, 2016.  Or, how about McConnell?  "Given that we are in the midst of the presidential election process, we believe that the American people should seize the opportunity to weigh in.” Feb. 18, 2016.  No mention of the Senate.

Mail in voting has been done safely since the Civil War.  If mail in voting favored Republicans, Trump would be all for it.  Trump wants to suppress the vote because he believes that if voting is easy no Republican will ever again be elected in America.  Yes, he actually said that.  So, full steam ahead to make voting hard.  Repeated lies about mail in voting being unsafe.  Court challenges to mail in voting.  Fake ballot boxes in California.  Few ballot boxes in Texas.  Voting rolls purged.  Plans for armed militia to be at polling stations to intimidate voters.  And, on and on.

I think you are wrong. I have read many creative excuses as to why nobody wants to turn up to see the frontrunner by a country mile in this runup. Biden is whacking Trump in the polls, he must have a huge momentum with his fans. Trump has huge crowds waiting hours to get a glimpse of their candidate, Biden would certainly have even more adoring fans, seeing as he is polling so amazingly, right?

"Democratic nominee Joe Biden delivered a speech in front of around 30 socially-distanced cars of supporters at a “drive-in rally” on Monday in a warring event with Vice President Mike Pence who was also in the Buckeye State."

https://nypost.com/2020/10/12/biden-speaks-to-30-cars-of-supporters-at-ohio-drive-in-rally/

How humiliating. 30 people turn up to see the next President speak? And the indifference to Biden makes me consider the credibility of the polls. Something is just not sitting right. Trump has gigantic crowds everywhere he goes, yet no support in polls. Biden has a couple dozen people(and who knows if they are staffers) turn up, and is winning by a landslide in polls. Any explanations to this phenomenon?
