Meanwhile, six people from Myanmar have tested positive, including two chefs, aged 41 and 52, along with a 58-year-old male hotel employee – all Thai nationals – who arrived on October 9 and tested positive on October 13 in Chonburi quarantine facility.

Separately, two Myanmar drivers, 35 and 42, tested positive on October 9, while a 36-year-old Myanmar student was found positive at the border screening checkpoint. All three were returned to their country and are undergoing treatment at Myawaddy Hospital.

The fear mongering continues, more and more people are getting infected, oh dear, oh my, how many deaths so far in Thailand in 10 months from Covid-19.....59, yep keep the country shut down, especially when 60 plus people die on the roads per day.

How many infected worldwide, around 37.5 million that we know of that have been tested, x's that by 5 or 10 would be a better prediction of people infected, how many deaths a million, yep keep the world shut down, we will all survive this while everybody goes broke until we wait for the vaccines, hang on a second, how did we all survive the other 4 Coronaviruses, herd immunity, hmmm, nah, no money in that, let's wait for the vaccines.

What a 'convenient' position for the government - people entering from other countries are all infected, but we will protect the Thai people from those infected foreigners ..... unless you're a Burmese truck driver who was allowed to bypass all the controls - but they son't pass on the virus like dirty falangs do.

Clear signs that the crisis is far from over and the borders must remain closed.

New cases in ASQ seam to correlate with mob activity ????

There not even "infected" they are testing positive, the results of Very dubious testing, the vast majority will be asymptomatic, if the test is indeed a true positive!

But, as you say - "fear mongering" scared people are obedient!

An online friend just mentioned a new spike in Malaysia, and I think it helps place this to consider how it goes in other places.  This article goes over that:  https://www.aa.com.tr/en/asia-pacific/malaysia-myanmar-emerge-as-new-coronavirus-hotspots/1996732

The numbers can be hard to place related to what real impact is.  As others always comment here, road deaths are also a routine, daily tragedy, but people learn to live with that.

That spike in Malaysia relates to 500 cases per day over the last week and a half, and what looks like a handful of deaths, maybe 30 in that time.  Of course the death spikes in trends tend to run a couple of weeks behind the case count spikes.

What expats saying "just open the country" in Thailand seem to miss is that people are going back into lockdown in Malaysia as a result.  It might not be mandatory yet, but controlling the outbreak relates to that sort of control measure, so if people don't do that impact will keep increasing until they do.  Or countries can let it run its course, and build up to a higher death count, as in Indonesia, with over 11,000 deaths, where people probably are self-isolating.  It's kind of a no-win situation, with Thailand choosing one of several paths that are all not ideal.

I just talked to a contact in India about why they can have nearly 7 million cases and "only" 100,000 deaths.  He said that the local strain must be less virulent.  I looked up articles describing that background and it turns out that in about 21% of cases in India a cause of death is registered, for any death, and in the others it's just not documented.  If someone gets ran over by a bus of course people know what happened but officially there are no stats tracking it.  I mentioned that to him next and he agreed, causes of death aren't usually documented in India.

11 of the 13 who tested positive in quarantine are Thai people.

Great excuse for dispersing the demonstrations in Bangkok, the government have already issued an order preventing more than I think 6 people allowed to gather.

Exactly, people have been conditioned to believe in medical technocracy, unfortunately it is extremely corrupted, as is the media.

Yet the masses cannot see it! ????

Sad situation, making their own prison, God help the young, never seeing smiling faces and having to obey! what sort of life will they have!

Yes, it is a sad situation indeed. If the CDC have never isolated, located, or found the virus, it would mean that it does not exist! The majority of governments are playing the game – their lives depend on it and/or they are in it for the money! Unfortunately, the majority of the people have been lobotomised with flouride, poisoned food, chemical trails, toxic medication, and have been hypnotised through the television and media. I have been warning people for nearly 30 years but most continued their path of deception. I found books written about the warnings, even as far back as the 1600s – they knew, they could see, their minds were still open. Unfortunately, we will have to go down the drain with all of the brain-dead and deniers. I will be glad when law enforcement shoot a bullet to my head because I can no longer help anyone, it has gone too far, and I don't want to live anymore in this lunatic asylum where you can't have an intelligent conversation with anyone because they are all on their mobile phones texting and goodness knows what else. Money, power, and sex is the name of the game, and there is no room left for truth.  I am sorry for the children but most of them have already been damaged so there is little hope.

If Thailand is having a problem with their neighbours, like Burma, Cambodia, then the trucks

coming from those countries should have to just come to the border, unhook their trailers

and have a Thai truck cab, hook onto that trailer to deliver it to the destination. That way if the Burmese or Cambodia driver is infected, they have to stay in their truck or at least the border until

a trailer from Thailand is ready to be hauled back into their country. It may be time consuming,

but if Thailand wants to stay safe, just do it. It also seems that people are flying on

long flights and arriving with the virus, are they being checked efficiently at the

departure point or not. Just wondering why Thais are coming back and found out to be

infected?

Geezer

Indeed, sad isn't it, we had the capabilities for so much more, love, compassion and empathy for our fellow human beings would have been a better choice, instead we are being pushed into the "4th Industrial revolution" where humanity will be crushed even further, it appears people have been too well indoctrinated to understand what is happening seeking only to feed their cognitive dissonance with more of the same!

Take care, we remain spiritual being - regardless ????

Geezer

because thais coming back to thailand, on planes or otherwise dont need a covid test or insurance, so go figure, they infect all others on the plane who were covid free with their tests. it boggles the mind .
