Why can't the time on the cruise ship be treated as the 14-day quarantine?

Presumably everyone is tested before joining a cruise and, once at sea, if no cases emerge that means the passengers are a safer bet than someone who just spent 14-days in a hotel.

In addition, what nationalities are permitted? Only people from safe countries? If you can find a cruise ship with the last destination as LoS, this might be a good way to sneak back in.

So, is each of 60 ships carrying 650 passengers (so it is a big cruise liner) for 39,000 total passengers, or do the ships have an average of 11 passengers each for a total of about 650 passengers (in which case they are likely private yachts). Big difference.

Big cruise liner ? You are not up to date, big cruise liners carry around 5000 passengers.

If your serious about getting back to Thailand sign up as a deckhand on a freighter and jump ship when it berths in Laem Chabang!

If you already have a re-entry stamp in your passport all they can do is make you do 14 days in Q jail.  ????

Tourists will need to quarantine onboard the yacht for 14 days and be tested for Covid-19 tests 3 times before entering Thailand, according to the CCSA spokesperson Taweesilp Visanuyothin.

So far, there’s around 60 yachts, each with about 600 to 650 tourists and crew members, that looking to dock in Thailand. The 27 superyachts and 33 cruisers could generate an income of 2.1 million baht.

Along with yachts, foreign ships are allowed to dock in Thailand to change vessels and head back to sea, the spokesperson says. Seafarers must also go through a 14 day quarantine period.

Cruise ships? I think they mean the CCP aircraft carrier popping by to check the military base the usurpers will hand to China after the debt trap triggers.
