Traffic in the Chatuchak area of Bangkok was obstructed after cables caught fire and fell in front of a condominium on Monday.

At 6.30am, Phahonyothin police were alerted about the situation.

When police reached the scene, there was a fire and some cables had fallen on the street below, obstructing four traffic lanes. Traffic officials decided to close the road.

Fire-fighters took around 20 minutes to put out the fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
