Just to double check the list.

1.)  Passport with Visa / Entry Permit

2.)  COE indicating correct flight numbers.

3.)  Document which comes with the COE - 'Declaration Form'

4.)  PCR Covid-19 test.  Somewhere they specify that the test should be a RT-PCR test, on the test results it indicates PCR covid test (SARS-CoV-2 (COVID19) Qualitative PCR), in the separate literature they state it is a RT-PCR test.  The results should be dated within 72 hours of the flight  which is a bit tricky to organize.

5.)  ASQ reservation (not sure if it is required, I will take it anyway).

6.)  Fit to Fly documents.  There are two separate documents.  'Medical Certificate for Air Travel' and 'Fit for Travel Medical Certificate'.  These need to be dated within 72 hours.  Only one of the two types is required.

 

 

 

Don't forget insurance:

40,000/400,000 baht health insurance

100,000 USD covid insurance.

5.) It is required.

Farang51:  Thanks for that, forgot.  I have the insurance which was necessary to get the COE, but still wasn't thinking of printing it to take along with me.  I will do that, better safe than sorry!  

How do you qualify to enter Thailand? Do you have family or a business there? I want to go there to retire, but at this point they are not issuing retirement visas.

You can apply for a OA or OX visa for being 50 or over for retirement now at a embassy or official consulate that allows you to apply for a certificate of residency.

Check the embassy website for where you are a citizen or legal resident for info.

You are eligible for the CoE (the currently required Certificate of Entry) when having applied for the Non Imm O-A (long-stay) Visa.  Of course there are several requirements to be fulfilled for a Non Imm O-A Visa application, as well as for the CoE.  But bottom-line it is possible to re-enter Thailand on a Non Imm O-A Visa (sometimes referred to as a 'retirement' Visa, although you do not need to be retired to apply for it, you only need to be 50+ years of age).
