I don't really care about tourists from any other country.

Do you think businesses here that cater for westerners can survive on western expat clientele alone?

They provide nothing I want, and the business that cater to them produce nothing I can't make myself far cheaper.

I guess you are living in Pattaya for its beautiful beach.  ????

Simple answer- don't eat beef, don't eat western food. Plenty of different sorts of Asian food in LOS to satisfy any taste.

For example, when the day comes I can't get a Sunday roast here, I will leave.

I don't fancy eating rice 7 days a week.

1. Let them fail, how many of them gave us a fair deal in the good times?

No need to answer, the expat beer and the food was sold at 2x-3x the price of Thai targeted establishments.

2. I moved here for the cheap and available young women, there's nothing else here I can't do by myself.

As for Sunday roast?

Why wait, I cook a nice joint of roast pork every week, around 100-120bht and lasts me 4 or 5 meals.

Roast pork, baked potato and gravy, roast pork with chips, roast pork sandwiches .... I've not done roast potatoes recently, maybe next week.

I don't eat much rice, baked potato, chips, spaghetti are my normal choice of carbs.

Had cornflakes for breakfast, baked potato and chilli for lunch, and cooked Tacos with Chinese stir fry chicken for dinner. Lunch was the most expensive meal .... it was a big potato that cost 15bht, and the 2 wine coolers upped the price a bit.

I used to do that but then misplaced my scalpel and magnifying glass.
