Drunken German Attacks Tourists

The Mark Land Hotel staff informed the Pattaya Police in the evening of 2nd May that a drunken hotel guest was attacking other people around the lobby, destroyed the hotel’s property and requested assistance.

The foreigner was still aggressive and trying to hurt people when the police got there but as soon as he saw the police, he stopped. The police found that the man is 50 years old and from Germany. He resides on the 25th floor of the hotel so escorted him up there to calm down since many guests were crowding the place.

Up in the room the police found medication, which the man probably takes for stress.

The man was not taken to the station since he had calmed down and also because the hotel didn’t wish to press charges.

The security guard stated: “we’ll have to wait until this man returns home to have peace back in the hotel.

In the meantime my duty is to prevent him from attacking other guests”.
