Perhaps Sheryl has some info.

It is a Regional hospital so tertiary level -- other provincial hospitals refer to it and it can offer specialized care.

Regional Hospitals  are generally of good standard, the only government hospitals with  better capacity than these are the major teaching hospitals in Bangkok.

Based on my experience,  i would very much prefer to go to any of the big Bangkok hospitals.

But remember: choose the doctor, not the hospital

If going through the public channel of a government hospital you cannot choose your doctor. You will be cared for by a team with most contact being with residents in training, overseen by a senior doc whom you will see but only briefly at a time.

The 2 best government hospitals are Chulalongkorn and Siriraj -- and for cardiac, also Rajawithi.
