Well you would say something like that, and as you are British, I find it very disturbing...????

Whats disturbing is people voting to damage the UK economy while having no clue as to what they were voting for.

Do not give our fisheries away nor become a legal client of the EU. Stay strong, Boris!

  • The U.K. GAVE them the right to fish our waters - how many times does this need to be said before it sinks in ?     Why are fish so important to Brexiteers ? It’s laughable.    Brexit wi

  • I agree stay strong Boris, make sure there is no deal. Then all of us can watch the UK GDP tumble even more. Covid  + Brexit + Scottish leave = little Britain with no economic prospects.

What will you do if it goes wrong?

Absolutely nothing, because I am a retired nobody having a bit of fun on a Thai based forum putting my views across, a forum where nothing matters regarding changing anything Brexit...:stoner:

In fact, I am amused daily by comments, especially the anti-Brit Brits here, EU blokes, weeell, bit confusing..

It's only Sturgeon and her gullible and ignorant followers causing disunity in the UK. Apart from that we are doing pretty well.

I agree I hope it ends well. But when one side is looking for a deal that helps both sides but the other side is looking to punish, then it becomes difficult. Let's see if the EU can take a more mature stance. Otherwise we both suffer.

Try to remember, Brexiteers are not anti Europe we are anti EU. Only the Remainers claim otherwise. Don't fall for their rhetoric, its divisive and counter productive.

A brexiteer calling others gullible and ignorant ????

But you want the UK split up, and you worry about the UK economy over Brexit. Bwaaaaaaaaah...Crazy stuff.....

At the moment is Scotland still in the UK?

Yes or no?

The country made a democratic decision, we will stick with that decision and remember if it does go wrong for us, it most certainly will go wrong for you too.

I don't get the go wrong but at all UK don't seem to give a dam and is driving a hard bargain on 3 things.

Just one is the fishing scenario it seems if the EU doesn't give it's a no deal for sure.

Nothing to do with a new name for Great Britain, you quoted "Great Brexit", which it is. But, if your country wants to refer to GB/UK as something else, I am sure folk will not really care, sunshine.....????

You "tricked me in" to it by the word money worrying .????...ok  i stop about hurting  ...

After reading all these comments, plus the MSM I have come to realise that although my passport says I am a citizen of the UK, the UK I was born into 85 years ago is so different from the present that it is no longer really relevant to me, I am just a disinterested but mildly interested spectator.

You forget, I actually lived in the UK for a very long time, you haven't, in my business I watched the change on the streets of London, you haven't. I know sod all about your Belgian streets, so I will not comment on it, it would be ridiculous..????

What changes would they be; and how were they caused by our EU membership?

You can't mean the increased number of people from the Commonwealth, for example South Asia, West Africa and the West Indies, over the last 60 plus years as those who didn't enter via their mother's birth canal did so via our own immigration rules.

Neither of which have anything to do with the EU!

Yes, we all know your position.

The same as many other Brexiteers here; "I'm all right, Jack, because I live in Thailand and wont suffer the consequences."

Except, if you are relying on an income from the UK to meet your living costs and visa requirements, what will you do if/when Brexit causes the pound to sink even lower against the baht?

So many crystal ball readers saying  " The pound will sink" sink where exactly it's still one of the most trading currencies in the money markets.

A deal has already been put in place while the EU is poncing about to trade with other countries in the world so what makes people think the EU is so important to UK.

Well rid I say to a silly club with stronger countries being like Hitler like dictators.

Apart from being the largest trading bloc on the planet ??

The pound has sunk - and will sink more if no deal is reached - how have you missed that ?

What deal has been ‘put in place’ - that is superior to what the U.K. had under the EU umbrella ? Do enlighten us ...

Seriously you couldn’t make this <deleted> up! It’s like shooting fish in a barrel

Well let's hope Boris gets a deal  or the brexiteers are in for a rude awaking

loss of jobs ect

For us here in Thailand a low pound less baht

Yesterday the pound  $1.35 on expecting good news on a deal

Now $1.32.60 on maybe no deal could get worse if that happens
