The overflowing Songkhla Lake has inundated a key road connecting Songkhla and Phatthalung provinces, causing serious traffic disruption.

 

The flood situation in the southern region has aggravated as the rising water level has entered residential areas.

 

Five districts located near the lake have been affected while the road connecting Songkhla with Phatthalung, namely Ranot-Talay Noi, has been under water.

 

Meanwhile, local farmers had to move their livestock to higher ground, while the youth have spent their holidays catching fish to help their families gain some income.
