webfact
Famous Muay Thai boxer responds to summons after model accuses him of defamation Muay Thai middleweight boxer Buakaw Banchamek, 38, went to the Na Jomtien police in Sattahip, Chonburi after a female model lodged a charge of defamation. He arrived with his lawyer in a Porsche. The case involves pictures of the boxer with the model that were posted on his promotion page on Facebook. It involves a tonic drink brand. Buakaw's lawyer blamed an administrator on the "Banchamek" page and noted that the pictures had been deleted. Buakaw said he had no knowledge of what happened but apologized to the model on behalf of the administrator and said it would not happen again. Despite this the police are pressing ahead with the case and gathering evidence. tingtong
Why don't name the accuser too? Is the complaint her photo was used without payment for it? That is not exactly defaming.
