PHUKET: A cook at a small restaurant in Koh Kaew escaped with minor injuries yesterday (Dec 13) after a hose from a cooking gas cylinder came loose and set on fire the kiosk where she was cooking – and set alight a nearby power pole that was starting to shower sparks.

27 returnees, one hospital personnel test positive for Covid-19

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration reported 27 new cases in quarantine facilities and a local transmission in Bangkok over a 24-hour period on Monday.

 

Most of the cases are travellers, both Thai and foreign, from overseas who are completing their mandatory quarantine in Bangkok, Samut Prakan and Chonburi.
