Immigration authorities have deported one of the two foreign divers who disturbed marine animals off Koh Pha-ngan in Surat Thani province in August. The other has appealed to stay on in Thailand.

Egat to import 1.9m tonnes of LNG next year, expand into EV sector

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (Egat) aims to import 1.9 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) next year, followed by 1.8 million tonnes per year in 2022 and 2023, said new Egat governor Boonyanit Wongrukmit.

Three new COVID-19 cases linked to Tachilek recorded today in Chiang Rai

Three more Thai returnees from Myanmar’s Tachilek Township, in local quarantine facilities in the northern province of Chiang Rai, have tested positive for COVID-19, raising the number of infections linked to Tachilek to 64, including 55 cases in Chiang Rai, said Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong, director-general of Disease Control Department, Tuesday.
