Cambodia still follows 14-day quarantine, PM says

Despite some countries having shortened their quarantine period to 10 days for overseas travelers, Prime Minister Hun Sen said that Cambodia still applies its 14 days.

 

Speaking via TVK national television today, Mr Hun Sen said a 14-day quarantine remains in Cambodia to ensure the people are either cleared of COVID-19 or get infected with the virus. He said no one has died of the virus in the Kingdom.

 

“We are poor, but we have the measures to protect the people,” he said. Mr Hun Sen also called on all the people to have their samples taken by medical officials if they came in contact with an infected person.
