Make the punishment fit the crime if this miscreant is caught. A month in a COVID ward of sick people, as a cleaner.

How about arresting the employer and making him pay for quarantine and testing?

Why?  Thai Logic, He's a Thai  the Workers are only Foreigners. The b@stard should be in jail and should be made to pay for everything, Testing ,Lodging ,Loss of income.

"How about arresting the employer and making him pay for quarantine and testing?"

Why are you asking , TELL THEM This is what is happening and put him in the same jail cell as them

wow wow wow...people have to know before writing stupid words :

since 8 months Thailand is secure so, Burmese work a lot in these big boats . So finally the owners of boats decided to let them coming back to visit their family. But since 3 month Covid is very widespreded in Buma. They cannot pay quarantine . SO the owners have a mafia to pay 10.000 bath and take them back. Many of them got covid in their country.

We can understand the anger of thai people . ANd Thai govenement has nothing in that problem..they try to control part of 2400 km of border !

but there are some bastards who continue to work with this low workforce (lao, cambodian, burmese)...

And now the Virus use this situation .... shrimps fishers come with 2nd wave !

sure they can find the company, right? and fine him for using illegal workers ?

thai people threat their neighbor countrymen like dogs, well,  like farangs

disgusted but not surprised, not much does anymore these days

You treat dogs like this in Thailand and you pay the price. Dumping them by the roadside? What a Tird.

My respect for this country diminishes each day.

I was sold a real dog with this buddhist peaceful LOS malarkey ????

these are the moments that make you proud of what our species is capable of. these are f***ing human beings for f***s sake. not just a bag of garbage you toss off at the side of the road when you are done with it.

the person who did this needs to just be gone. how can greed for money allow a conscious to do such horrible things. man are we ever on the wrong path.

i would like to leave earth now please.

Their boss in Samut Sakhon - center of a major outbreak of Covid-19 in recent days - had put them in a van saying they were to be tested.

I thought Samut Sahkon was under lock-down... so how did he and a van full of migrants get out?

“Unscrupulous cheap labour gang masters” is a figment of your imagination.

Most Third World Burmese, Cambodian and Laotian are more than happy to work in Thailand. More money and work than back home. They earn twice as much in Thailand.

No it is not, it is called "Exploitation  of cheap labour" it is a well known fact that Bangkokians look down on the more unfortunate Thais so what chance do these people have .......!!!!!

They are lining up for it. A good opportunity to improve their and their families lives. An opportunity they don’t have in their own countries. What is your country doing for them?

The only countries in a position to offer any kind of assistance are neighboring countries so the comment "What is your country doing for them" a little nonsensical

Surely not brown envelopes and tea money?

I am shocked that you post something like that.

The wonderful RTP would never do such a thing.

Not touched a drop since first of June.

I think I may have to go to hospital though as my tongue hurts where I was biting it whilst posting.

Name and shame this and other despicable company owner on Facebook and other social media and share.

Sure, those poor souls come to Thailand to earn some more money to feed their families.

They do the jobs, thais don't want to do.

Low skilled thais go to Europe, USA etc to get a job that the locals won't do.

Imagine a European boss would "throw his thai labourer" away like garbage.

Hia business and reputation would be gone and he would be held accountable.

And for sure, thai government, embassy and media would make this a massive story.

Not in Thailand.

I was theated like a dog by in an italian restaurant , same in an english hotel...will I consider all italians ans english people like theese people?

Some years ago, the burmese workers in farms ans boats were considered like animals and paid very low. But things changed a lot with Abhisit governement and PM Prayut press up 2-3 times the salaries. So now, nothing perfect and many owners stay like venal people , like this one who abandoned his workers: dont worry , he will be found by police ! (yes , I know corruptio in police ...but not all, particulary when social network start to show !)
