My intro to Cold War espionage was through John Le Carre's fiction, and then I read up on Burgess, McClain, and the Philby, "the third man."  I didn't know there were five, never heard of this one before.

Ed Snowden reads the obit and sighs...

That was a 100 years ago and is irrelevant now I'm pretty sure they have changed. The aims of the woke leftists have not changed. That is the difference. The agenda to destroy western values as planned by Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, Beria remains in place, has not changed, is promoted by Putin and the Chinese State and others and is being carried out by a combination of cynical and ignorant, frequently young woke activists. It is infantile but typical of leftist apologists to reference ONE errant member of the Royal Family and one newspaper policy from a hundred years ago BUT WILFULLY IGNORE the death and destruction caused by the imposition of socialism on millions of people. Keep it real and for goodness sake leave the 6th form politics behind.

Keep it real? It is to laugh.

It was you who brought Nazi sympathisers up when you compared Blake to them. Why did you do that if it's as irrelevant as you now say?

Much of the rest of your post is also about the past, much of it pre Nazism which you now call irrelevant!
