BANGKOK (NNT) - Government House has taken strict measures to control COVID-19 and provided health checkups for government officials and staff.

Mr. Theeraphat Prayoonsit, Permanent Secretary for the Prime Minister’s Office, has confirmed that Government House has COVID-19 prevention measures, which include strictly screening officials and adhering to public health measures by spraying disinfectant every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, as well as cleaning meeting rooms both before and after the meetings, to build confidence, and providing health checkups to all government officials. The Secretariat of the Prime Minister has been providing health checkups to its officials, and the new round of health checkups were held today.

The Prime Minister also agreed with the policy of allowing 80 percent of officials of government agencies in Bangkok to work from home, except for those responsible for public services, to reduce the PM 2.5 problem and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
