Bangkok closes entertainment venues, Chiang Mai imposes travel restrictions

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has ordered the closure, until January 4th, of horse race tracks, cock-fighting and fish-fighting rings, as well as entertainment venues as COVID-19 infections spread to at least 43 provinces.

Four police officers in Rayong transferred after gambling den becomes Covid-19 hotspot

National Police chief Pol General Suwat Jangyodsuk on Monday signed an order transferring four senior police officers of Muang Rayong police station to the Provincial Police Operation Centre 2, a news source revealed.

Mass random swab tests fail to find infected migrant workers in Phuket

PHUKET: Mass random swab tests of hundreds of migrant workers from camps all across the island have so far failed to identify any workers infected with COVID-19, the Phuket health chief has revealed.

Toll-free motorways, expressways during New Year festival

The Department of Highways will waive toll fees on two Motorway routes – No. 7 (Bangkok-Chonburi- Pattaya) and No. 9 (Bang Pa In-Bang Phli-Bang Khun Tian) from midnight of December 30 until the midnight of January 4, said director-general, Sarawut Songwilai.

Police raid Hat Yai nightclub, arrest owner on three counts

Road Safety Center stepping up road safety, COVID-19 measures ahead of New Year

BANGKOK (NNT) - In addition to campaigns to prevent road accidents during New Year celebrations, the government is campaigning for people to practice social distancing, aimed at limiting the spread of COVID-19. The government is urging people to stay home and refrain from holding or attending large parties.
