webfact
Unhealthy haze returns to five Bangkok areas By The Nation The hazardous haze returned to five areas of the capital on Wednesday, but the average dust level was reported to be moderate. The Air4Thai website said the level of PM2.5 dust particles was recorded between 24-61 microgrammes per cubic metre. Most of Bangkok’s areas are facing dust that is slightly higher than the approved standard level of 50 microgrammes per cubic metre. The amount of airborne dust particles in Thawee Wanarom Park (Thawi Watthana district), Thawi Watthana, Nong Khaem, Sai Mai and Taling Chan districts were above the safety limit and could affect the health of residents in these areas. Isaan sailor
Combined effort by vehicle exhaust, burning farms and of course Thailand’s industrial overlords to the north. Enjoy.

jojothai
I did not think we are into the main burning season yet? Maybe they are burning piles of used face masks that they were not sure what to do with, but now have to act? ????

In my observations it had gone away for some time, but it was over a week ago when it clearly became bad again. Not just today. When there are abrupt changes, is there no logic in trying to figure out which way the wind blows and where its coming from? Or perhaps it could just be the lack of wind that causes the city pollution to fester. Do they not have any way to figure this out. Perhaps we need some AI here to help Edited December 30, 2020 by jojothai Added comment
