Honest Baht Bus Driver returns lost money to German Tourist.

A nice story now from the Pattaya Tourist Police Station located half way up the Pratamnuk Mountain. Police Captain Watanna, a sub-inspector at the station led this press conference which commended the actions of a local Baht Bus Driver, Khun Chokchai aged 45.

He drives Bus Number 456 and in December 2006 he picked up a German Tourist Mr. Fler Sacha Furnpor aged 27 who left a bag on the seat of the bus.

The driver opened the bag and found 18,500 Baht in cash and 290 Euros inside. He did the right thing and informed the Tourist Police who in turn contacted the German Embassy who informed the man, who had already returned to Germany, that his money was safe.

Mr. Furnpor has now returned to Thailand and attended this press conference where he received back the money from the honest Baht Bus driver who was rewarded for his good deed.

I reckon thats great....I wonder how many people would do that,be it Thai or Farnag
