Central Pattana Plc is piloting free counter service space for delivery and take-away food in order to help spur sales for 300 of its tenant restaurants at 18 branches of Central Pattana shopping centres nationwide. Central Pattana said the measure would offer extra convenience for customers, under its “Hygiene and Safety” master plan.

Takeaway counters in front of restaurants, plus discounts and promotions, meant everyone could enjoy their favourite dishes at home, or still choose to dine-in under social-distancing guidelines, said the mall operator

“We need to unite and join forces in order to get through this crisis together,” said Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, executive vice president of marketing for Central Pattana.

The operator said cleanliness and safety in all 33 shopping centres across the country has been enhanced to the highest possible standards.

They did this at the Central on Rama 9 during last years closures.  The entire lower floor was full of these booths and the front of the mall was lined with Grab and Food Panda riders.  Worked good since you could not sit inside and eat at the restaurants. I wish them luck.
