Clip On Ties For Kids

Featured Replies

Looking to set my son up with a clip on tie for his school uniform , wife said they do not exist in Thailand.

Anyone have experience with this?

If it is part of his uniform the school shop/supplier will be able to get them for you. Alternatively a goodly length of velcro would do the trick. On the other hand, depending on his age it could be dangerous - I've seen little boys playing and it aint pretty! :o

I figure the non clip on tie is more like a noose for a young kid.

Is it part of the uniform to wear a tie? As I said, if it is, the school shop should be able to sort you out. Another idea could be to make a tie up, stitch it, cut it off and attatch it to elastic yourself. I imagine any tailor could do that for you.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

That is a good idea.

Tie is part of the uniform and the school shop does not have clip ons.

For heaven sake. Teach the boy to tie his tie and take a pride in his appearance.

How we look is the first impression people get and can make or break a future relationship.

Start on the right path from the begining. :o

PS most security guards have clip on ties, so they do exist, but maybe not in children's sizes.
