Construction Worker Drowns in Jomtien Lake.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Jackgarin from Banglamung Police Station was called to a lake near the Ambassador City Hotel in Jomtien just after 9am on Friday after members of the public made the discovery of a floating corpse.

Police and rescue workers arrived and removed the body of Khun Soogit aged 31, a local construction worker according to his brother who soon arrived at the scene.

He explained to Police that Khun Soogit had been missing for 2 days and was last seen staggering away from an all night drinking session with fellow workers.

He explained that he was going fishing despite his brother telling him to go back to his home and sleep. Police confirmed that there were no visible signs of trauma on the body and are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination before they close the case.

Graphic photographs of bloated and discoloured corpse withheld.

Not discoloured - it's an orange shirt - nor bloated - not been in the water long enough. Libya115, any chance of posting happy news once in a while?
