Featured Replies

Votes in - acquitted (57 guilty, 43 not guilty).

What a surprise. Roll on the rest of the court cases.

Trump lawyers had the easiest job ever. Pretend to do something so that GOP senators pretend to have a reason to vote Trump is innocent. The GOP senators all know he is guilty and they decided long be

  • The last 4 years has been a democratic witch hunt, 'healing' the country with yet another impeachment is just the latest vindictive hypocritical attack.

  • No, it's a traitor hunt, and 45 is the traitor.  About that there is no doubt.   -45 DELIBERATELY changed the date for his terrorist base to meet to 6 Jan, the day of the vote certification

Well, Georgia is next in line, perhaps in tandem with SDNY. It ain't over by a long shot.

Now the chicken heart (R) Senators are on record. For just a brief moment I held my breath when the grim reaper's vote was cast, but in the end he betrayed his oath of office.

Democracy and the rule of law took a serious hit, but it's still breathing.

So It's not enough to convict him as a 2/3 majority is required, but at least it shows that there is a bipartisan plain majority thinking that Trump is guilty.

That was fast. I was watching the closing arguments by the Democrat team only about half an hour ago, so all 4 major channels must have been playing the trial after it finished.

I guess you meant "What a surprise" in a satirical sense. It was no surprise to me or many. IMO the Democrats did not give due process in the impeachment, relied on emotion, and already knew that most GOP senators considered it unconstitutional. My only regret is that they didn't call witnesses, which would have delayed Biden's agenda for a few more days.

I agree on rolling on with the court cases. We all need more Trump on our tv screens every day for months and months and months. Seems he isn't vanishing from public view any time soon.

BTW, all those courts cases are going to be foremost in the news cycle and poor old Biden will be pretty much ignored, IMO, LOL.

Listening to the grim reaper admitting the former president IS responsible for the terrorist account is unbelievable! He's pinning the acquittal on a technicality.

He's trying to play both ends to meet the middle.

Whoa!!! McConnell just threw the former president under the bus, saying he is still liable for all his wrong-doings as a private citizen.

Why didn't he grow that pair 30 minutes ago?

It's easy. Supporters of President Trump don't sit around watching CNN all day. They are patriots who believe in the US and will continue to fight for freedom and liberty. They also believe in fair elections.

Let's look how many of those patriots, who invaded the Capitol, will go to jail for their action. That should give you an idea about the legality of their action.
