Carelessness Leads to an Accident

The Pattaya Police was informed at midnight on 14th May that an accident occurred on Thappraya Road – in front of Soi 13 and one person was seriously injured.

At the scene the police found a Toyota Yaris car and a Honda Wave motorbike that were both damaged. Not so far off was a Thai male motorcyclist being aided by the Sawang Rescuers. His condition was so serious that they had to quickly take him to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya before being questioned.

The car driver is 41 year old British Mr. Stuart Mawford who helped the Sawang Rescuers aid the injured man at the scene.

It was found that both the car and motorbike came from the same direction. When the car signaled to make a turn into the village – it seemed like the motorbike rider did not see the flashing light and crashed into the car’s side.

The police noted down all statements and will question the injured man after he recovers, which means that both parties will have an appointment at the police station to give their sides of the story.

how many times when turning right or left for that matter has a thai tried to over take or go inside 100s i exspect, everything in a thais life is done carefully and slowly ,but put them on a motor bike and wow look at them go,lets hope the thai recovers and tell his freinds and relatives to slow down .apart from the accident this can scar the memory of the car driver for life ,nothing is that important that it cant wait a few minutes .when driveing in thailand look all around you ,theres always some kind of danger lurking :o
