Makha Bucha day with rockets at Wat Doi Tairn

So the neighbours rolled up in their pickup and told me we're all going to the temple Wat Doi Tairn in the hills behind MaeJo University.

Place was packed out with people, lots of ladies in full Lanna silk outfits, spoiled a bit by the facemasks.

Plenty of free food and drink (no meat or alcohol of course).

And rockets ......... 5m long rockets .......... some of which went 'kaboom' on takeoff.

Everything looks nice and dry, good to go.

Anything to make a festering noise. They were going off in my heighbourhood part of the evening, still, it drowned out the noise of the bass-heavy music and dogs.

Lots of ladies in full lanna silk but not 1 picture of them . Shame on you BritMan ???? . Hope this is not part of their Spaceprogram . Several going kaboom on takeoff .
