Just look at the difference between the reception of Trump and Biden when elected president.

Exactly! Quite a big difference! ????

A post containing false or misleading information and reply have been removed.   Unless you have a credible link to show Biden has Alzheimer's, it will be removed and continuing will result in suspensions.

Where was the media when the nursing home deaths story came out months ago? Covering for Cuomo.

No.

It is easy to criticize in hindsight. Considering the circumstances, what alternatives did the state have? As I recall, the state was in collapse due to the explosive growth in the infections. There was no PPE and shortage of staff everywhere. What was your alternative that would have resulted in better outcome?

I also recall that most of the problems relate to the for profit private health care operations. This is the group that had resisted government involvement or oversight. How quickly that is forgotten, yes?

There is no doubt there were many, things that should have been done differently.   This was about as close to war-time medicine as it gets.  The hospitals were massively overcrowded and anybody who could be cared for elsewhere needed to be moved.   Many were returned to their nursing homes.  A part of a requirement for a nursing home to be licensed under the federal regulations is to be able to deal with infectious patients.  Nursing homes, however, were as short staffed as hospitals and many of the staff were sick and others simply refused to go to work.

Thousands of people died simply because so many officials refused to encourage and mandate stringent mitigation efforts.  The standard of care for many people was abysmal simply because there were too many seriously ill people and not enough staff, not enough medications, even oxygen was limited.   In some places, they had to triage patients and decisions were made to simply not treat some people.

So did some people die unnecessarily?   Actually, hundreds of thousands died unnecessarily.   If they want to do a post mortem on Cuomo and NY, fine, but do it through the prism of events at the time, not through rose colored glasses and best case scenarios.

Cuomo is history. Does joe still think he's still the "gold standard"?

Perhaps his Cuomo's brother can interview him on his CNN show and get the truth out of him.

Why is he 'history'? Both Trump and Biden got elected with such allegations running. How is this different?

If by 'consequences' you mean media coverage, perhaps. But then again, how the media covers things is often related as to how objects react. Trump simply generates more noise and attention than others. As for any real 'consequences' I don't think that there were any - he got elected regardless.

The 3rd woman to complain needs to get a life. How can a guy asking a girl if he can kiss her be harrasment

The article seems to be lacking any mention of asking for the kiss or permission being granted here: "Sending her a rose on Valentine's Day and kissing her on the mouth". Provided those are the pertinent facts, what would you prefer it was called; if not harassment?

So perhaps it's you who needs to get a life!

Drop into an all Thai nightclub sometime with a rose and and plant one on the prettiest girl in the room without consent. I'm sure you'll get more out of life than never thought was possible.

I believe the mantra of "Believe all Women" was supposed to apply when the perp is a democrat icon too. After the Kavanaugh disgrace, the left have no room to wiggle out of this.
