Blood test for diabetics
There is a thing called a CGM. I use the Freestyle Libre 2 It is a small device that sticks to your upper arem and constantly monitors your blood sugar levels, they pair with an app on your phone. I have been using them in Australia for about a year and it allowed me to get a good understanding of what foods affect my sugar levels, also how certain foods give a rapid spike where others are more gradual. this has allowed me to set a diet for myself and as of my last blood tests the endocrinologist has taken me off all meds. -

Fatal Road Collision in Sa Kaeo Province Leaves Three Dead and Four Injured
Pictures from responders. A road crash in Ta Phraya district, Sa Kaeo province, has resulted in three fatalities and four injuries after a pickup truck collided with a car near the entrance to Lalu, Thai Samakkhi Village, Kok Larn Subdistrict. Emergency responders rushed to the scene to provide aid and transport victims to the hospital. The accident occurred at approximately 14:20, prompting an immediate response from local rescue teams, including Sawang Thieng Tham Rescue Unit, Share-Or Rapid Response Unit and cutting and extrication teams from Burapha station. Upon arrival, rescue workers confirmed that three individuals had lost their lives at the scene, while four others sustained serious injuries. The force of the impact had sent the car off the road and down an embankment. The injured were urgently transported to Ta Phraya Hospital for medical treatment, with ambulances from Ta Phraya Hospital, Kok Larn Subdistrict Administrative Organisation, and Thap Rat Subdistrict Administrative Organisation assisting. The bodies of the deceased were extricated from the vehicles and also transferred to Ta Phraya Hospital for further procedures. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash. Initial assessments suggest that vehicle speed may have been contributing factors. The vehicles collided head-on, with the car possibly attempting to overtake a slower moving truck. -- 2025-02-02 -

You were thinking that the UK stop your annual pension upgrade was bad?
For the people in this forum who were thinking that their government was not treating them well, here are the plans for the PENSION from the new Flemish Government. (Translated by Google from Dutch). 1️⃣ a "pension malus", this is a permanent expropriation of your accrued pension rights if you stop before the age of 66 – and soon 67 – without having worked enough years effectively; 2️⃣ a new interpretation of "the career years", which means that most people will lose a year or more; 3️⃣ a complete abolition of the scheme for heavy professions in the private sector (the SWT will disappear after 35 years of work in a heavy profession) and a major dismantling of the scheme for heavy professions in the public sector (police, fire brigade, postmen, teachers will have to work for at least 41 years before they can take early retirement – if they do so after those 41 years, they will also lose a portion of their pension). 4️⃣ "the malus": up to 25 percent of your pension lost through the expropriation of your accrued rights; 5️⃣ a structural reduction of the civil servant pension, via the calculation at 45 years instead of the last 10 years: civil servants lose approximately 20 percent of their pension; 6️⃣ all periods of technical unemployment and SWT to be calculated on the basis of a limited fictitious salary. The equalizations for "landing paths", which should make working longer more feasible, are also being limited or even abolished 🤦♂️. The survivor's pension, which offers a safety net to the surviving spouse over the age of 50, is disappearing. The same applies to the divorce pension and the family pension. "Everyone for themselves", is the logic. The Arizona coalition also seems to want to cut the minimum pension. This will now be calculated on the basis of "effective work performance". How exactly this will happen is not explained further. -

Residence Certificate at Chaengwattana Turnaround
The attached link is good outline of COR and required docs. Like many things the list is comprehensive however at CW likely the push most of docs back. In my experience io took the TM47. I had a lease etc however didn't take much notice. I tend to take the kitchen sink "just in case" https://www.thethailandlife.com/residence-certificate-thailand (obviously the TM6 on the list not required) -
