Will Booster Shots Be Required for the Covid 19 Vaccine?

Featured Replies

Read an article that Thailand will issue a certificate of vaccination for Covid 19 when the required doses administered. However the article also said that the certificate will only be valid 1 year. Does that mean booster shots will be required or a test carried out to obtain another certificate? I haven't seen anything about this myself.

Too many officials from too many Thai ministries are telling the media too man different stories. Until whatever is being planned will happen, there is no telling what the all this talk really means.

vax producers are saying, that protection is only for about 1 year.

in israel there is already over 100% vaccinated, means some have received 3 shots, possibly the 3rd was from different company.

The uk has bought over 3x over, means they are prepared to give up to 3 different vax.

Nobody knows how long protection lasts.

also which vax is bad for each strain (az is not god for the south african one and other similar)

IMO we will need a booster. It is to be expected because there will be variants.  It will be like flu vaccine where they change recipe every year. I am ok with that, because it will take the world 2-3 years to have  vaccine available. As long as people can travel from red zones we will be at risk.

I think it is possible you will need to be vagginated every year.
