Thai Woman Finds Stick Of Dynamite In Front Of........

SOURCE: Pattaya Today: May 15th 2007

Dynamite stick remains a mystery

Mrs Samlee Samkatwatnee told police she had been cleaning the front of her house in Banglamung when she discovered a hole and what appeared to be the remains of an explosion.

She noticed there was a stick of what appeared to be dynamite but she felt it couldn’t be dangerous as it was raining.

So she threw it down the street to distance herself as far as possible.

The curious stick was then found by a teenage boy who managed to light it and throw it back in the direction of the aforesaid residence. Luckily nobody was injured. Police are still puzzling out who did what to whom and why.

One theory is that an unknown person intended to scare Mrs Samlee but the plan had gone wrong when the stick became sodden.

Darwinian selection at work here? Stick of dynamite lying in the front yard, no probs pick it up and lob it down the road. Stick of dynamite comes flying down the road, no probs pick it up, light it and lob it back. Fun for all.

This one was good for a belly laugh.

It reminds me of the old joke.

We went to war with >>>>>. They threw dynamite at us so we picked it, lit the fuse and threw it back.

Definitely cartoon stuff.

I normally use a detonator when working with either dynamite or ANFO (or other exotic bangers)

Lighting the blue touch paper is limited to fireworks in most cases.

Sounds like those two are good friends and where just having a bit of light fun, I alway thought a ball was much safer for throwing back and forth

Libya, shouldn't you have posted this in the comedy room?
